Dr. Stutman often becomes involved in the treatment of skin cancers including, Basal Cell Carcinoma, Squamous Cell Carcinoma, and Melanoma. Skin cancer treatment is usually centered on complete excision and reconstruction of the remaining wound. Reconstruction is most often performed using adjacent skin, but occasionally requires coverage with a skin graft. These options are discussed with Dr. Stutman at your consultation prior to your procedure.
Most reconstructions can be performed under local anesthesia.
